Teach-in Phase

Central to the system is the establishment of a basic condition - a starting point for any subsequent monitoring. This takes place in the Teach-In phase. During this phase the process must operate as normal meaning no operational interruptions.
Establishing the basic condition can be observed using trend diagrams. The process runs until its basic condition has been established, i.e. by the establishment of constant data. A manual switch to the monitoring phase is then required.
The system set up is now complete.
