MinMessage - Additional Functions
Data logger with remote monitoring function
The RS232 port can be used as a modem connection. This enables remote data transfer of measurement data. Measurement data stored in the MinMessage device can be transferred at predetermined time intervals.
Connecting to the Ethernet (TCP/ IP)
MinMessage devices can be connected to a PC via the RS232 or RS485 ports. The PC can in turn be connected to an Ethernet. Data can then be viewed from any PC, with the necessary rights, within the network and evaluated offline.
Monitoring
Up to 4 limit values can be allocated to each analog channel. Alarm output takes place according to configuration via switch outputs and ports. Thermocouple, 4..20mA, and RTD inputs can be monitored for wire breakage.
Average values
Message devices are also equipped with average value functions. As well as measurement values from an analog or status input, average values can also be calculated and used as a further channel. The average value of a channel enables a smoothing of measurement values.
The following are available:
- Block average
- Moving average
- Moving average of a block average
