OCX-Driver

Allows the user to use communication software with Message devices. OCX enables Message devices to be configured via a PC and includes server software for data transmission. High performance functions are also available for accessing data within the Message devices.

OCX driver description
The OCX driver enables configuration and communication functions for Message devices via a host PC. Communication is in the form of ActiveX-Control and operates autonomously after having been successfully configured.

ActiveX Control can be used in any OCX compatible application or programming language, e.g. MS Access, Excel, and Word, in MS Visual Basic, VBA, FoxPro andVisual C++ as well as Borland Delphi and C++ Builder."

ActiveX-Control comprises 3 types of procedures/functions:
procedures/functions to create TCP communication objects.
procedures/functions for configuration and communication with hosts. It should be noted that communication with data hosts takes place from the communication objects. These provide measurement data for parent applications in the form of ring buffers.

NI LabView / DasyLab Driver

The LabView/DasyLab driver enables quick access from LabView to measurement data in TopMessage devices. The driver uses the LabView LLB functions as a basis. Data is configured under VIs and then undergoes further processing in LabView. This driver is particularly suitable for applications which have high data transfer rates (i.e. several thousand measurement values/second).

The LabView/DasyLab driver is only available for use with the TopMessage and TopLab products.
