ProfiSignal Klicks - Intuitive programming for measurement and testing technology
Delphin's ProfiSignal software makes it simple for users to generate automation procedures for their measurement and testing requirements. The tried and tested "all-in-one" software includes predefined components that require only configuring for users to perform their specific measurement and testing procedures.
Klicks is an intuitive programming tool for users to simply and quickly generate automation procedures without having to learn a programming language.
Testing procedures are portrayed in Klicks as a graphical structure chart which breaks the process into separate procedural steps (sequence modules). Each sequence module represents a part of the procedure. The structure chart graphically portrays the complete procedure.
Each sequence module is then assigned programming code through a process of “Programming by Selection”. The sequence module is then able to perform its part of the procedure. The procedure is simply programmed using the mouse. A programming language does not need to be learned.
This gives users immediate benefits:
- Short familiarization times
- Fast and effective performing of automation requirements
- Quick and understandable overview
- No syntax errors while inputting
- Generated systems are easy to maintain even over the long term
As well as automation functions, ProfiSignal is also equipped with other predefined components to meet any user need.
- The Parameter View for inputting header and test-sample data as well as for selecting procedures and recipes.
- The Visualization View for portraying measurement data, operating and monitoring.
- The Report Generator for outputting measurement data and test results in tabular and graphical formats.

A New Dimension in Vibration Measurement
Delphin Technology have achieved yet another milestone in vibration measurement technology. We are proud to present the brand new Expert Vibro device. The Expert Vibro has many excellent features that set it apart from its competitors:
- Vibration measurement is made easy with Expert Vibro. Intuitive configuration enables fast implementation and short commissioning times.
- Expert Vibro makes many vibration-technology applications now affordable. Expert Vibro can be used instead of complex and expensive systems.
- New types of applications are now possible that had previously been cost ineffective.
- Expert Vibro is equipped the latest processor technology to provide it with enormous reserves of power for online computations and analysis.
- Vibration data can undergo simultaneous monitoring, recording and analysis.
Expert Vibro applications
- Monitoring of shaft vibrations on turbines, super-chargers, engines and compressors
- Monitoring and analysis of bearing vibration and wear
- Data acquisition and analysis of pressure vibrations and other transient signals
- Measurement data acquisition from drives
- Continuous operation in industrial plants and test stands
- Remote monitoring of plant and machinery
Expert Vibro measures, monitors and records fully independently. Expert Vibro uses an internal storage memory to give users enhanced data security and system reliability.
Universal inputs and outputs
The compact Expert Vibro is equipped with 16 synchronous analog inputs with sampling rates of up to 50kHz per channel. A 24-bit A/D converter ensures high-precision measurement. All channels are galvanically isolated to prevent transverse distortions. Via software, users are able to switch the analog inputs between voltage, IEPE and shaft vibration measurement. Integrated comparators and digital inputs enable flexible triggering.
Includes monitoring functions
Measurement data is monitored "on the fly" with the switching in milliseconds of up to 8 digital outputs. Characteristic values or raw time signals from any of the analog inputs can be output to 2 analog outputs.
PLC and PC interfaces
Expert Vibro can be connected to PCs via LAN or USB. Two PROFIBUS interfaces are available as well as Modbus TCP for fieldbus connections. Multiple Expert Vibro devices can be synchronized to process vibration data from many channels.
Modular analysis functions
Versatile software channels enable Expert Vibro to be used for complex analysis and monitoring tasks. Characteristic values can be determined from time signals and spectra. Spectra are computed online (FFT) and recorded along with time signals and characteristic values. A modular system allows users to set up their own analysis functions for the required channels. Functions include high and low band pass filters, integrators, FFT algorithms and many more. Expert Vibro is fully compatible with the ProfiSignal software and can be used in conjunction with the "Vibro" option.
Independent operation and remote connection
Expert Vibro has a built-in data storage capability to enable independent operation. The memory can record raw time signals as well as spectra and characteristic values. Optional WLAN, UMTS or LTE modules are available for standalone operation. Antennae can be connected via SMA sockets. The Expert Vibro's touchdisplay shows important configuration or measurement data.

Process analysis – mobile and universal
Delphin's universal mobile measurement case is equipped with analog and digital inputs and is the ideal tool for users wanting to record and analyse measurement data. The case is especially useful for servicing, maintenance and system commissioning. The robust case system uses standard Delphin products: the data acquisition system Expert Key and the independently operating Message device.
A particular benefit is that users can select the type of connections required from the whole range of available connectors. Users may therefore continue to use existing sensors and sensor types. The case is strong and durable and features integrated signal conditioning and sensor feeds. Additional equipment is not required. Process signals such as mA and mVolt signals can be directly acquired as can thermocouples and RTDs and, depending on model, electrical data.
The mobile measurement case enables users to perform their tasks simply, quickly and reliably, task such as:
- fault detection in complex machines, systems and processes
- fault diagnostics with pre and post history data
- process analysis, process development and optimization
- acquisition and analysis of energy data
- mobile acquisition of vibration data
- remote data acquisition and monitoring via router and modem communication
The intelligent Message devices enable users to carry out on-site monitoring and systems management independently and without the need for PC or laptop support. Measurement data can be securely recorded using an integrated 32GB data memory.
ProfiSignal software is included in delivery and enables users to analyze the data using y(t), y(x) and logic diagrams. The system is completed with specialist functions for data acquisition, visualization and evaluation.

ProfiSignal Version 3.2: many new functions and enhancements
Version 3.2 is now available to ProfiSignal users and includes upgrades to both ProfiSignal and the DataService/Configurator software. New functions make it even easier to operate the DataService and to configure ProfiMessage devices.
The new ProfiSignal sequencer object combines the running of programmes in the DataService and ProfiSignal. Analog and digital channels can be selected and linked to set point curves, and users can easily integrate stop points and the conditions for processing to continue. The sequencer is ideal for managing climate chambers, experiments and test stands.
ProfiMessage devices can now be fully configured offline. Existing ProfiMessage configurations can be loaded, edited and saved. This function is especially useful for mobile applications. Saving and loading of partial configurations is also supported.
The DataService "find and replace" functions have been extended and can be used, for example, to replace partial strings, e.g. part of a channel name, for all channels. This saves time when configuring a ProfiMessage device.
Password protection for the DataService and ProfiMessage devices have been upgraded and consolidated. ProfiSignal has been extended with a universal import filter for ASCII data. Visualization objects can now be directly linked to alarms in the alarm table, saving users time when creating visualization views.

More applications and more efficiency from ProfiMessage
New internal functions have extended the range of ProfiMessage applications with new options available for measurement data acquisition, process monitoring and analysis.
The ProfiMessage devices now have improved performance for measurement data acquisition as well as for full process monitoring and analysis. Measurement data can now undergo validation, computation and evaluation prior to being stored to the device's internal memory. Data acquisition is quicker with data being directly converted into meaningful characteristic values. Systems are now even quicker at delivering vital and easy to read information. Software channels are available to compute, integrate and differentiate data, to determine statistical characteristic values and to monitor every measurement value.
Lab and test stand procedures can be configured into ProfiMessage devices and performed independently. Users are able to easily generate the number of software channels they require. Configuration is performed using DataService/Configurator software. This software is simple to use and requires no specialist programming knowledge. New link options help users to structure and organize their software channels.
Serial port configuration with ASCII protocols has been upgraded and is now available to any user. Separate protocols can be created, saved and loaded for each required port.
