Working at Delphin

Delphin places a high value on stability. Because of continuous growth we have also been able to recruit new personnel which has meant both continuity and new impetus to the overall development of the organization.

Basis

Delphin functions as a self-organizing, organic system with information as the basis of its activities. Delphin is under constant development because of both the external demands and requirements upon the organization as well as technological advancements from within. The organization must remain capable of recognizing changing needs and to incorporate these into products, quality and efficient working practices. Delphin is not structured hierarchically but organized on a functional basis.

Delphin believes in motivating each individual within the organization, to help each individual realize his or her full potential, to show how his or her activity fits into the overall functioning of the organization, to make work meaningful for each individual and to help individuals achieve a sense of joy and pride in their work. Outstanding working performance is recognized and rewarded, and those willing and capable of particularly special work will receive a significant role within the organization.

Think global, act local

To achieve a self-organizing, adaptable system requires the active cooperation of all members of the organization. Each employee must be able to perceive his or her activity in a global perspective (think global, act local).

Decisive here is knowing the benefits that will arise from an employee's activity to a future customer or user. This means employees must continually think and reflect on how they use their information - this is an existential issue for the successful functioning of the organization.

Sound system of values

Delphin's system of values is based on trust and openness. A sense of well being can only exist in such an atmosphere, making work pleasurable and promoting above-average productivity. Openness (willingness to express an opinion) is imperative in successful decision making.

Customer relations

We must be aware that the behaviour towards a customer of a member of our organization, whatever their function, will affect that customer's attitude towards us. This means every employee must consider himself or herself to be representative of the organization as a whole. Politeness and taking customer problems seriously are essential in customer relations.

Holder of responsibility

These are members of the organization who have demonstrated particular ability and performance. They take up special positions within the organization.
