Delphin Technology AG was founded in 1980 by Dipl.-Ing. Peter Renner as a GmbH. Since its beginning Delphin has been active in the development and production of hardware and software for industrial measurement technology.

Industrial measurement devices have been developed and produced for the acquisition of temperature, pressure, flow, vibration, revolutions and other measurement data. Delphin also develops software for measurement technology enabling measurement data and processes to be monitored, assessed and analyzed. Processes can be automated and machinery controlled via remote monitoring.

Delphin's major advantage is that it can provide complete hardware and software solutions.

Delphin's measurement data acquisition systems are being used in testing technology and process engineering, including the energy and foodstuffs industries, and in research and development. Areas of application include the monitoring of gas turbines for Siemens and the monitoring of pharmaceutical production at Bayer.

Delphin Technology AG's clientele includes worldwide, renowned industrial companies such as Siemens, Bayer, Bosch, ABB, MAN, AEG, Philips, Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann etc.

Delphin's clients also include research laboratories, institutions and universities as well as a large number of medium sized companies.

Delphin needs to be one step ahead of its competitors for long-term survival in the market. Therefore, highly qualified engineers and IT experts are involved in the development of new, innovative hardware and software products. This activity rests on twenty-five years of experience of industrial applications.

In 2001 the company underwent a restructuring from a private to a public limited company, with its name changing from Delphin Systeme GmbH to Delphin Technology AG. Since 2004 Delphin Technology AG has been located in Overath-Brombach - approximately 25km from the city of Cologne.
