Process engineering

In process engineering, plant and machinery are increasingly being required to run at their absolute limit. Increasing energy costs are a major argument for good, accurate analysis. Contamination, corrosion and sedimentation have negative effects on efficiency and lead to increased running costs. ProfiSignal identifies and monitors such sources of increased costs.

Delphin supplied a major printing house with equipment to acquire over 500 types of values from their printing machines and over 300 energy meters. The system enabled company-wide energy requirement calculations to be performed and a major part of the company's process monitoring system.

A modern process monitoring system also provides data for fault diagnosis and cause investigation in the event of any malfunctioning. Delphin's data service saves measurement data at a high resolution. Process optimisation is fast and effective. Uninterrupted process data acquisition provides quality assurance for the process output.

Test engineering

Flexibility of measurement data acquisition and adaptability to new trial or testing procedures are very important in test engineering. There is usually a requirement to manage and control testing procedures. Message devices are equipped with a range of functions to meet such requirements. The ProfiSignal software enables the easy input of testing parameters, the operation and monitoring of processes and the management and control of testing procedures.

Delphin has supplied many luminaire manufacturers and testing agencies with complete testing systems comprised of both hardware and software. Delphin have extensive experience of test stands applications.

Research and development

Research and development demands a high degree of creativity. ProfiSignal is an extremely open and diverse system. It provides development engineers with many useful functions and has few limitations.

Operation and configuration is also very simple. This frees the user to concentrate on the actual task in hand and not to be bogged down with setting up complicated computer systems.
